The ongoing Pandemic health and socio-economic crisis made it imperative that we secure funding to ensure that the farm manager could do the job of keeping the farm open and productive. The critical months of April and May were a scramble to ensure the survival of our farm and other gardens and farms in the Bronx and across the city. We were one of a few organizations in the state that received a contract from New York State to keep the farm open for production. We also wanted to support the community both the schools and the community at large and we reconstituted our efforts into the following initiatives that are added features on our website:
